Chris has been caring for family pets in the Penrith and Blue Mountains areas of Sydney since 1970. He has qualified as a member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Surgery and has acted as an examiner for the College. Chris has been an AVA representative on the NSW Veterinary Surgeons Board for 12 years and has been awarded a Meritorious Services Award from the AVA for his services to the veterinary profession.

Chris and his colleagues have used their extensive knowledge and experience when designing Vets Own Pet Health Insurance to ensure it is the best policy available.

Chris is very passionate about the role of Vets Own Pet Health Insurance in making quality care affordable for the treatment of family pets. He truly believes in "the best of care for your best friend".

Shaun Leveton is an internationally acknowledged expert in the field of pet health insurance, and we are most appreciative of his contribution to Vets Own.

Shaun originally trained as an industrial psychologist and moved into the field of human health insurance. He then applied his knowledge and experience from the human health field to pioneer pet health insurance in South Africa. His original company is now the largest
pet health insurer in South Africa.

Now Shaun and his family have migrated to Australia and he has pioneered pet health insurance in his new country. Shaun now heads the largest pet health insurance group in Australia.
